On November 29, Reidi road located in Central Tallinn was opened to traffic. Its design started in September 2015 when the client Tallinn Public Works Department signed the contract with the consortium of design companies K-Projekt AS, Novarc Group AS and Järelpinge Inseneribüroo AS. The assignment was aimed at decentralization of traffic load, enhancing the connections of ports with main roads as well as development of urban space and opening the city to the sea.
The main design was completed in 2017. The contractors Verston Ehitus OÜ and KMG Inseneriehituse OÜ have completed the work.
