25.augustil andis president Kersti Kaljulaid Kilingi-Nõmmel üle tänavused Vabariigi Presidendi konkursi “Eesti Kaunis kodu 2019” võitjate auhinnad. Üheks tänavuseks konkursi võitjaks oli ka Tõrva uus keskväljak. Vaata lisaks Tõrva valla uudiseid ja Delfi uudist Tõrva keskväljaku projekteerisid arhitektid Arhitekt Mustast. Peaprojekteerija oli Novarc, projektijuht Reino Rass. Väljaku ehitas Merko.
