540 õpilasele mõeldud tänapäevane gümnaasiumihoone ehitatakse Harjumaale Viimsi valda Haabneeme alevikku Tammepõllu tee äärde jäävale kinnistule suurusega 8 830 ruutmeetrit, ehitusaluse pinnaga 2 500 ruutmeetrit. Planeeritava koolihoone netopind on ligi 4 150 ruutmeetrit.
Viimsi riigigümnaasiumi hoone arhitektuurilahenduse „CLT“ autoriteks on Novarc Group AS ning KAMP Arhitektid OÜ (Jan Skolimowski, Peeter Loo ja Kaspar Kruuse). Hoone ehitab Merko Infra AS.
