The April supplement of Estonian business newspaper Äripäev, Ehitusuudised, published an article „What are the current BIM bottlenecks?“ compiled on basis of the topics addressed during the discussion panel on building technology conference.
In the panel Kaitis Väär participated representing Novarc (chairman of the board) and EAACEC (member of the board).
It was 10 years ago that Novarc decided to transit to modelling. Presently, 99% of projects are designed in BIM with the perspective of utilising the model throughout the life cycle of the building. The next step will be clarifying the comprehensive operation-period benefit of the model to facility managers and developers.
